Scope: This document specifies the operating conditions, rated values, Design and structure, type test, factory test, etc. This document applies to generator circuit breakers installed between the generator and the step-up transformer. This document applies to generator circuit breakers equipped with generators and transformers with a rated capacity greater than or equal to 10 MVA, while the rated capacity of the generator circuit is less than 10 MVA, installed in pumped storage power stations and directly connected to the generator under other operating conditions circuit breakers are considered to be special applications, the requirements of which are not fully covered in this document. This document also applies to the operating mechanism of the generator circuit breaker and its auxiliary equipment. This document also applies to circuit breakers in plant branch circuits. Note: The circuit breaker directly connected to the generator can also refer to this document.
