This standard specifies the method for the determination of sulfide and total sulfur in gas with a gas chromatograph equipped with a sulfur chemiluminescence detector. This standard applies to the determination of sulfide and total sulfur in industrial gases, natural gas, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, coke oven gas, food-grade carbon dioxide gas, air, automobile exhaust, biomass gas, and coal-to-synthetic natural gas. The determination range of sulfide: 0.1 mg/m3~1 000 mg/m3. The measuring range of total sulfur in gas containing hydrocarbons: 0.5 mg/m3~1 000 mg/m3, the measuring range of total sulfur in gases not containing hydrocarbons: 0.1 mg/m 3~1 000 mg/m3. For gases with sulfide and total sulfur content higher than this range, it can be measured after dilution.
