Scope: This standard specifies the method of preparing calibration mixture by weighing method, which is used to prepare bottled calibration mixture, the expected value of the accuracy of the mixture is preset. It is only applicable to the gaseous state, or the gas mixture of components that can be completely vaporized, and there is no reaction between the components, the components and the bottle wall. For the preparation of gas mixtures based on predetermined levels of uncertainty, this standard gives a preparation procedure. Multi-component gas mixtures (including natural gas) and multi-stage diluted gas mixtures are included in this standard and can be considered as special cases of single-component weighing preparation method. This standard also specifies the verification procedure for the content of components in the calibration mixture prepared by weighing method. Calibration mixtures prepared and verified by weighing methods have the highest accuracy compared to other methods of preparing calibration mixtures.
