Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. for power battery management systems for electric vehicles (hereinafter referred to as battery management systems). This standard applies to the management system of lithium-ion power batteries and nickel-oxygen power batteries for electric vehicles. The management systems of other types of power batteries can be implemented with reference.
