Scope
This standard applies to the reaction of p-cresol-isobutanol as raw material, concentrated sulfuric acid as a catalyst, and alumina as a dehydrating agent to produce 2.6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol. Used as an antioxidant in food processing.
