- Scope
- This document stipulates the limit level, technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation method of energy consumption per unit product of titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloy ingots (hereinafter referred to as "titanium ingots") (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption"). This document is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of enterprises producing sponge titanium by magnesium reduction distillation and vacuum consumable electric arc furnaces to produce titanium ingots, as well as the energy consumption control of new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects. This document does not apply to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of enterprises producing sponge titanium by electrolysis and other methods, and the production of titanium ingots by cold bed furnaces, as well as the energy consumption control of new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects.
