Scope

This document describes two methods for the determination of PAH content in vulcanized rubber. Method A is proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and method B is gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in vulcanized rubber, and also applicable to the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in tires.
