Scope: This document specifies the method for measuring the electrical resistance of pneumatic and solid tires under load on a special measuring device. The static electricity on the vehicle usually needs to be discharged through the tires, and the resistance of the tires in turn measures the ability of the tires to discharge the static charge of the vehicle. This document specifies the measurement device, measurement conditions, and measurement methods so that the tire resistance of no more than 1012 Ω can be accurately determined. This document applies to the measurement of electrical resistance of pneumatic and solid tires.
