This part of GB/TI 20975 specifies the determination of titanium content in aluminum and aluminum alloys using diantipyridine methane spectrophotometry and hydrogen peroxide spectrophotometry. This section applies to the arbitration determination of iron content in aluminum and aluminum alloys. The determination range of diamphenopyrolinemethane spectrophotometry is: 0.001 to 0.50%; the determination range of ammonia peroxide spectrophotometry is: 0.50% to 16.50.
