- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test principles, test equipment, specimens, test procedures, result evaluation and test reports for fatigue testing of wire rope rigging. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the constant-width axial fatigue performance of various types of steel wire rope slings. The test of the axial fatigue performance of steel wire ropes can also be implemented with reference.
