- This standard specifies the method for measuring and calculating the diameter and wall thickness of hollow fiber membranes using image analysis. This standard is applicable to the determination of the cross-sectional structural dimensions of hollow fiber membrane filaments. Note: The "diameter" referred to in this standard includes the outer diameter and inner diameter of the membrane filament, and for non-circular cross-sections, it refers to the equivalent circular area diameter.
