Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the peel strength between the soft covering material and the base material on the surface of furniture using a mechanical testing machine. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the peel strength of parts of furniture and other wood products made of soft covering materials such as PVC plastic film, leather, artificial leather, and fabric, as well as wood and wood-based materials made by gluing.
