- Scope
- This standard specifies the determination of soluble silica in coal mine water using the molybdate colorimetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of soluble silica in coal mine water. Under the conditions specified in this standard, the solution concentration range for measuring soluble silica is 0.1~5 mg/L. This standard does not apply to the determination of soluble silica in water samples that cause interference during reduction and color development, produce abnormal colors, and contain strong oxidants or reducing agents and organic compounds.
