- This standardization stipulates the classification, technical requirements, testing, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of explosion-proof beam cranes with explosion-proof electric wire rope hoists as the lifting mechanism. This standard is used for explosion-proof cranes working in explosive gas environments in coal mines (Class I) and factories (Class II). This standard does not apply to explosion-proof cranes working in explosive dust environments.
