- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for power and lighting transformers used on offshore oil platforms. This standard applies to three-phase dry power and lighting transformers with a voltage of 10KV and below, a frequency of 50 (60) Hz, and a capacity of 2500KVA and below installed on offshore oil platforms.
