- This standard specifies two types of steady-state acceleration tests and four strict acceleration levels to simulate the slowly changing acceleration environment that may be encountered in the use of aircraft equipment. This standard is applicable to the acceleration environment test of civil aircraft airborne equipment subjected to maneuvering overload or gust overload acceleration. Forced landing refers to HB6167.5 "Civil Aircraft Airborne Equipment Environmental Conditions and Test Methods Flight Impact and Crash Safety".
