- This standard specifies the reliability and durability testing and evaluation methods for reciprocating piston-type general-purpose small gasoline engines (referred to as general-purpose small gasoline engines, generally referring to general-purpose gasoline engines not exceeding 30kW). This standard is applicable to the assessment of reliability and durability of general-purpose small gasoline engines. This standard does not apply to special-purpose gasoline engines such as motorcycle gasoline engines and outboard engines.
