- This standard specifies the method for performance testing of reciprocating piston small general-purpose gasoline engines (referred to as general-purpose small gasoline engines, generally referring to general-purpose gasoline engines not exceeding 30kW) on test benches. This standard is applicable to the type inspection, periodic inspection, factory inspection, etc. of general small gasoline engines. This standard does not apply to special-purpose gasoline engines such as motorcycle gasoline engines and outboard engines.
