- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic requirements for base materials, equipment, penetration agents, metal penetration processes and post-treatment, penetration layer quality inspection and safety technology for steel parts to be infiltrated with chromium, vanadium or niobium in borax molten salt. This standard is applicable to finished steel or cast iron products and semi-finished workpieces to be polished that require surface wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is not applicable to workpieces to be ground.
