- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage and other requirements for gray iron castings used in positive displacement compressors. This standard applies to gray iron castings with flake graphite cast in sand molds or in molds with thermal conductivity equivalent to that of sand molds.
