- This standard specifies the tasks, work procedures and detailed requirements for reliability design at each stage of the instrumentation development process. This standard applies to the new product development process. According to the product's complexity, price level, inheritance situation, structural type and quantitative reliability requirements, designers can selectively apply the detailed requirements for reliability design in each stage specified in this standard. The improved design process of finalized products can also be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to software reliability design procedures and requirements.
