- This standard specifies the basic technical requirements, rating levels, test methods and inspection rules for DC electromagnetic contactors for locomotives. This standard applies to DC electromagnetic contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors) used in auxiliary circuits and control circuits of electric locomotives, diesel locomotives and electric multiple units. For special DC electromagnetic contactors used on locomotives for other purposes, this standard can be consulted between the user and the manufacturer.
