Scope
This standard specifies the determination of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, aluminum, titanium, copper in carbon steel and medium and low alloy steel by spark discharge atomic emission spectrometry (conventional method). , niobium, cobalt, boron, zirconium, arsenic and tin content. This standard applies to the analysis of as-cast or forged carbon steel and medium and low alloy steel samples in electric furnaces, induction furnaces, electroslag furnaces, converters, etc. The determination range of each element is shown in Table 1.
