- Scope
- This International Standard specifies a method, free from mer- cury pollution, for the determination of total iron content in fron ores by silver reduction and potassium dichromate titration. The method is applicable to a concentration range of 30 % (m/m) to 72 % (m/m) of iron in natural iron ores, iron ore con- centrates and agglomerates, including sinter products, contain- ing not more than 0,1 % (m/m) Cu. Contents of vanadium nor- mally present in iron ores are without effect.
