Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the pH of liquid phenolic resins at the manufacturing stage or on the market. NOTE 1 A variant of this method, applicable to solid phenolic resins, is described in annex A. With liquid resins having a viscosity greater than 2 Pa·s, it may be neces-sary to use this variant, which calls for a magnetic stirrer.
