- Scope
- This standard describes a volumetric method for the determination of silver in silver jewelry alloys, preferably in the fineness range as specified in ISO 9202. These alloys may contain copper, zinc, cadmium and palladium. Apart from palladium, which must be precipitated before carrying out the titration, these elements do not interfere with this determination procedure. This method is intended as an arbitration method for determining purity in alloys as specified in ISO 9202.
