Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper content in boiler water and cooling water by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper content in boiler water and cooling water. It is also applicable to the determination of calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and copper content in various industrial water, raw water and domestic water. This method is suitable for calcium content of 0.02 mg/L~200 mg/L, magnesium content of 0.02 mg/L~200 mg/L, iron content of 0.02 mg/L~100 mg/L, and zinc content of 0.02 mg/L. ~100 mg/L, determination of copper content in the range of 0.02 mg/L~100 mg/L.
