Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of quartz glass holding tubes for optical fiber drawing (hereinafter referred to as quartz holding tubes). This standard applies to quartz glass tubes used for holding, supporting or extending during the fiber drawing process.
