This standard specifies the terms and definitions, identification, materials, general technical requirements, physical characteristics, test methods, inspection rules, and markings of polyester multifilament double-braided structural ropes (hereinafter referred to as: double-braided ropes). This standard is applicable to double-layer braided structure ropes made of polyester multifilament with linear density 26.1 ktex to 48 300 ktex and rope codes 6 to 240.
