Scope
This standard defines the terms and definitions used for lightning risk assessment technology, and specifies risk factors, risk assessment processes and methods, and risk level determination. This standard applies to major public service facilities such as highways, rail transit, large bridges, ports, terminals, transportation hubs, and oil and gas transmission pipelines, planned functional areas with an area of more than 1 km, or narrow areas with a length of more than 2 km (such as Regional lightning risk assessment for large amusement parks, tourist attractions, industrial parks, large residential communities and other special areas deemed by relevant authorities to require regional lightning risk assessment).
