This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of mobile reverse osmosis desalination devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This standard applies to the production, acceptance and inspection of mobile desalination devices that use reverse osmosis technology to produce fresh water from seawater or brackish water.
