Scope

This standard specifies the operating conditions of pumped storage units and the criteria, methods, conditions, and procedures for switching between operating conditions. This standard is applicable to the working condition conversion design of reversible pumped storage units with a unit capacity of 150 MW and above. Pumped storage units with other capacities can be implemented as a reference.
