Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for biological evaluation, mechanical properties, electrical properties, corrosion resistance and service life of solenoid valves used in the fluid circuit of hemodialysis equipment. This standard applies to solenoid valves inside hemodialysis equipment where the valve body is in direct contact with dialysate or reverse osmosis water (hereinafter referred to as "solenoid valve"). It is not applicable to solenoid valves with non-contact between the valve body and liquid.
