This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for flame-retardant polyester pre-oriented yarn. This standard is applicable to flame-retardant polyester pre-oriented yarns with a total wire density of 75 dtex to 600 dtex, a monofilament linear density of 0.5 dtex to 10.0 dtex, triangular, trilobal or circular cross-section, natural color, texturing and drafting. This standard is applicable to colored flame-retardant polyester pre-oriented yarns with a total density of 100 dtex to 400 dtex, a monofilament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 10.0 dtex, a triangular, trilobal or circular cross-section, produced by dope dyeing technology. Other types of flame-retardant polyester pre-oriented yarn can be used as a reference.
