Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the fiber content of mixtures of natural cellulose fibers and certain regenerated cellulose fibers using the hydrochloric acid method. This standard applies to two-component mixtures of natural cellulose fibers (such as cotton, linen, ramie, hemp) and certain regenerated cellulose fibers (such as viscose, modal, lyocell, cupro fiber).
