EN ISO 11704:2015 Water quality - Measurement of gross alpha and beta activity concentration in non-saline water - Liquid scintillation counting method (ISO 11704:2010)
This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of total alpha and total beta activity for radionuclides that are non-volatile at 80 °C in water. Radon isotopes and their decay products with a short half-life are not co-determined. The method is applicable to raw and drinking water with a dry residue of less than 5 g/l and when no correction of the color quench is required.
