Scope: This standard specifies various requirements for metal tubular electric heating elements, including product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, ordering and supply, etc. This standard applies to tubular electric heating elements designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Articles 3.1, 4.1, and 4.2, with a working voltage not exceeding 440V, and a metal tube as the outer shell. This standard does not apply to tubular heating elements for daily use and similar purposes. For components that are used in vacuum or in media with an absolute pressure exceeding 1MPa and have special requirements, in addition to complying with this standard, they should also comply with the corresponding special requirements standards.
