Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, abbreviations, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This standard applies to portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry instruments (hereinafter referred to as instruments) that use gas chromatography-mass spectrometry techniques for qualitative and quantitative analysis of a compound or multiple compounds.
