This standard specifies the energy efficiency limit values and energy efficiency grade requirements and measurement methods for professional Class D audio power amplifiers (hereinafter referred to as Class D power amplifiers). This standard applies to Class D power amplifiers powered by grid power and with a total amplifier output power of more than 100 W (including 100 W); other types of Class D power amplifiers with a total output power below 100 W can be implemented by reference.
