This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of flame-retardant safety nets (hereinafter referred to as safety nets). This standard applies to safety nets used in open flame operation spaces during the construction and repair of ships and marine engineering structures. Flame retardant safety nets for construction operations can also be used as a reference.
