Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of caffeic acid phenethyl ester in propolis This standard is applicable to the determination of caffeic acid phenethyl ester in propolis ethanol extract and propolis capsules. The minimum detection limit of this standard method is 3 mg/kg, and the quantitation limit is 10 mg/kg.
