Scope

This standard specifies the principle, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, analysis steps, result calculation, detection limit, recovery rate and tolerance for the determination of chlorate in oral care products by ion chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of alkali metal chlorates in various oral care products. The detection limit of chlorate in this standard is 2 mg/kg.
