Scope

This standard specifies test methods for determining the composition of liquefied petroleum gas using gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of hydrocarbon composition in finis ed liquefied petroleum gas. This standard can also be used for the determination of hydrocarbons and oxygenated compounds (such as dimethyl ether, methyl tert-butyl ether, acetone and methanol, etc.) components in liquefied petroleum gas containing oxygenated compounds.
