Scope
The guideline deals with the formation mechanisms of pores, possible sources of gases that lead to pore formation, causes of pore formation and provides information on how to avoid them as well as test methods for detecting pores. The text is illustrated with graphical representations and photos and supplemented by tabular overviews . Information is also provided on the training and further education of welders and welding supervisors.
