Scope

This part specifies the following methods and methodologies: ● Method - the evaluation method of the function of the intelligent transmitter; - the test method of the operating characteristics of the intelligent transmitter and its static and dynamic performance. • Methodology—the knowledge of basic diagnostic models used to determine reliability and detect faults;—the knowledge of methods for determining the ability of smart transmitters to communicate in a communication network. These methods and methodologies are suitable for converting one or more physical quantities, chemical quantities or electrical quantities into digital signals for communication networks (see IEC 61158 series of standards or other standards) or into analog electrical signals (see IEC 60381 series of standards). transmitter. The methods and methodologies listed in this section are mainly used for: - manufacturers to determine the performance of their own products; - users or independent test laboratories to verify the performance specifications of equipment. It is recommended that manufacturers of smart transmitters begin to apply this part of GB/T 17614 at an early stage of development. This part provides guidance for the design review of intelligent transmitters through the following methods: - develop hardware and software design review checklists in a structured way; operational test methods for carrying out inspection measurements; — methods for obtaining reported data.
