Scope: This standard specifies the test methods for observing the microscopic morphology of chemical fibers and measuring the fiber diameter by using a scanning electron microscope. This standard is applicable to the determination of the microscopic morphology and diameter of various chemical fibers and their products. The determination of the diameter is only applicable to chemical fibers whose fiber cross-section is circular or close to circular. Other materials can refer to this standard.
