- This standard specifies the technical requirements for direct lightning protection and lightning electromagnetic pulse protection of solar photovoltaic systems. This standard applies to the design and construction of lightning protection projects for new construction, reconstruction, and expansion of solar photovoltaic systems installed on the ground and integrated with photovoltaic buildings.
