Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, grading regulations, test methods, inspection rules, packaging markings, transportation and storage of polyester and nylon printing woven ribbons. This standard is applicable to ink-printed polyester and nylon 6 woven ribbons with a width range of 2 mm to 100 mm produced by ribbon looms. This standard does not apply to woven ribbons printed and finished with special processes.
