Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) tops (hereinafter referred to as: PTT tops). This standard is applicable to PTT tops with a nominal single fiber linear density of 1.67 dtex ~ 3.33 dtex, semi-matt, natural color, circular cross-section, an average length less than or equal to 110 mm, and directly formed into strips. Other types of PTT tops can be used as a reference.
