Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for polylactic acid short fiber products. This standard applies to polylactic acid short fibers with nominal linear density of 1.1 dtex to 2.1 dtex, circular cross-section, no matting agent added, natural color, and non-filling made by melt spinning using polylactic acid as raw material. Other types of polylactic acid short fibers can be used as reference.
